Course description: An in-depth exploration of collage - it might not be the Loving Hands at Home craft you think it is! We will look at its history, how it has been used, who has disparaged it, and how contemporary artists are using it today. Learning some basic ways to combine flat and maybe not so flat materials. Fun challenges to stretch your creative mind. Zoom. Every 2 weeks beginning February 1. $200 per person, contact Melisse to register.

Course description: This landscape class can be done in a variety of mediums, the focus will be on how to approach landscape. Breaking it down to the essentials, not getting caught up in the details, and also having visual detail without overdoing it. Looking at color in nature, you might be surprised by what we find. We will cover the basics and consider how to do landscapes that challenge and inspire.Don't be afraid, critique can be fun! Practicing presenting your work for critique and critiquing other artists' work is another aspect of the creative process. Learning to offer thoughtful, useful critique is an important tool to develop as an artist. With these skills, you can discern where you need to improve and how to be objective when looking at not only your work but the work of other artists. Each month, an artist, idea, or movement will be presented for group discussions. Zoom. $100 per person, contact Melisse to register.
